Business Need
The Perlego Backup service allows users to backup mobile devices’ content to a secure server, so that it can be restored at any time. Initially, the mobile client application for Android and iPhone version 1.5 was only able to backup and restore those devices’ contact information.
To meet the client's needs, Akvelon offered an Activity Management Portal to multiple senior centers.
Solution
The solution developed by Akvelon – a client-server mobile application for iPhone and Android – enables users to not only backup their contacts, but to also save user-generated photos and videos. All content is stored on the ‘myperlego’ server and can be restored at any time. The application is also extremely user-friendly. In addition to the photos, videos, and contacts, the Android application version allows users to backup calendars, settings, files, call logs, SMS, and MMS messages.
