Akvelon’s internship program aims to foster the next generation of technical leaders in our local communities by helping local students gain experience to reach their educational and career goals.

Task: In the event that we receive more applications than there are available openings in the program, we will send a task to be completed in order to select the most motivated and qualified candidates.

About the Program

Our internship program offers a unique learning opportunity by providing hands-on software engineering experience to students from 11th grade through college from our local communities, as well as Ukrainian refugee students.

During the internship, you will have the opportunity to participate in real industry projects and the development of applications that include various components, such as Web Servers, Web UI, Mobile App, and AI models.

While this is not a paid internship program, we are committed to providing our interns with meaningful work experience and mentoring. Our goal is to help our interns develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their future careers.

Program Details

Duration: 6 weeks
Dates: June 25 – August 4 or July 10 – August 18 (Dates will be determined based on the number of applications received for both options)
Time commitment: 4 hours, 3 times a week, on weekdays
Location: The schedule involves a hybrid work schedule, working at the Akvelon Bellevue office and remotely

The program is best suited for students who have previously completed programming courses and are interested in a career in the IT industry.

A successful candidate should have a positive attitude, be an independent thinker and have confidence in their ability to comprehend and own assignments.

All interns will be required to provide a government issued photo ID and sign a NDA.
