Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to
join our growing team at Akvelon. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business
growth, cultivating client relationships, and identifying strategic opportunities within the
technology consultancy sector. This position is located in the Seattle / Eastside area.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our
    client base in the Greater Seattle Area and beyond.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and
    market dynamics to inform and adapt business development strategies.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective business development strategies
    aligned with Akvelon's objectives to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients,
    ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering exceptional client
    satisfaction.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling
    proposals, presentations, and pitches that showcase Akvelon's technological expertise
    and value proposition.
  • Networking: Represent Akvelon at industry events, conferences, and networking
    functions to establish a strong presence and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales,
    marketing, and project delivery, to ensure effective communication and successful
    project implementation.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and pipelines,
    providing regular updates to leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven track record (5+ years) of successful business development in the technology consultancy sector
  • Strong understanding of technology trends and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture client relationships, resulting in successful partnerships and repeat business

Working Conditions and Benefits

𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆: $150,000 to $350,000 per year, DOE, includes commission structure
This position is located in the greater Seattle/Eastside area. Local travel up to 50%.
