Language services company that changes how patients with limited English proficiency patients communicate with their healthcare providers. We are the largest and fastest-growing video remote interpreting company in the world with over 1,900 hospitals and thousands of clinics using our solutions. We offer five proprietary products that provide video remote interpretation, over-the-phone interpretation, onsite interpretation, telehealth interoperability, and translation.

Responsibilities

General

• Code reviews
• Solution design development
• Daily standup meetings
• Assisting team of QA engineers

Backend

• API development
• Stack upgrade
• Implementation of new features
• Maintenance of codebase
• Refactoring of codebase
• Partner platform integrations

Frontend

• Development and refactoring of React components
• Implementation of new features
• Partner platform integrations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with significant recent experience using Python 3, Django REST Framework
• 3+ years of professional experience in Web development using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Working knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes 
• Experience with Postgres or other relational DBMS, AWS, Docker, Celery
• Experience with WebRTC or other web-based video standards is a plus
• Understanding and proven application of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data security standards, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, SOLID principles, and complexity analysis
• Focused on creating software that provides an exceptional customer experience
• Problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning and implementing emerging technologies 
• Ability to work in a self-directed fashion while being resourceful and adaptable 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong individual contributor, self-motivated, and a proven team player
• Eager to learn and develop new experiences and skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• English not less than upper-intermediate level
