Expedia
Developed a smart, user-friendly app for Expedia travelers on WP8. The app uses a fast and clean Metro style UI and allows for integration with the most popular social services. Moreover, it includes smart assist for clients before, during, and after their travels.
GeekWire
Developed WP8 news reader for GeekWire that leverages “Metro” UI design paradigm, providing users with a fluid, engaging, and immersive reading experience.
SmartActivity
Created the Smart Activity mobile application that allows you to train and record your progress for different activities using customizable training plans. The application, which contains a clean user interface, uses GPS to show you where you’re going and where you’ve been.
Cloud Park
Created the design and functionality for a consumer cloud park app on WP8. The application incorporates location-based services and NFC/RFID. It consumes and supplies data to and from the Cloud via M2M and M2M2C.
WSDOT
Built an app containing travel and traffic information for the state of Washington. The WSDOT app includes a variety of features, including: statewide traffic cameras and high-priority travel alerts, mountain pass reports, northbound and southbound Canadian border waiting times, ferry schedules and alerts, and real time ferry locations.
Health Guard
Improved Microsoft Health Vault with a consumer health app. The application allows users to collect and view vital health statistics with this interactive mobile app for Windows 7, while also showcasing Microsoft Health Vault as the purpose-built cloud platform for all things medical. Akvelon had also developed SDK for iOS/Android connectivity to HealthVault.
