Business Need
Human Inc has designed and created new wireless headphones which have the shape of human ears and have a wide functionality. Besides a high-quality audio experience and reliable connectivity, the headphones can translation, transformation into portable loudspeaker, and have a long-life battery and a touch-sensitive surface. These headphones also have the ability to accept voice commands and to control the sound of the world around you.
Human Inc also developed a mobile application for both android and iOS platforms, so that the headphones could be managed from the app.
Our Akvelon team was brought in to test both the headphones themselves as well as the application.
Solution
Akvelon did a thorough investigation of the product and created test cases that covered both application and headphones functionality. Since not all specifications are clear yet, the test cases are still updated and complemented. All testing work is done in JIRA.
Benefits and Results
Along with working on the test cases, now we are doing manual testing of both application and the headphones. All test results can be seen by the client in JIRA.
Later performance (mostly stress and reliability) test cases will be created. They will be automated using Appium and ran on a regular basis on automation server selected by the client.
