Our client manufactures radio-frequency identification devices and software. They wirelessly connect billions of everyday times to applications, delivering real-time information to businesses and enabling the Internet of Things.
Business Need
Our client created a product around IoT devices for retail customers. It helps retailers track their customer retention for certain products. The client deployed hundreds of actuators in different stores and created a BI platform to analyze their data for getting business insights. Our client needed a Data Connector application.
Solution
Akvelon helped the client implement a data connector application. DC app is responsible for configuring jobs for data aggregation from multiple IoT devices. This product helps identify errors and spot incorrectly deployed device as well as increase the speed for getting information about the sensor’s activity. It also can reduce the load due to its batch processing option. Our solution also includes an Admin Console for managing device integration status and job schedules.
Benefits and Results
As a result of Akvelon’s and our client’s cooperation, we developed a Data connector that helps identify dozens of errors and made the whole IoT system faster and more reliably.
