Our team has developed a fun and interactive AR download within the free SeekXR app that lets you take Akvelon Man, our company’s mascot, wherever you go! This app will bring Akvelon Man to life through AR, overlaying his image onto your surroundings through your phone’s camera.
Through the end of October, we will be running a photo contest to see who can take the best picture of Akvelon Man!
How to Enter
- Download the SeekXR app
- Take a photo with Akvelon Man. It can be a picture of you, your friends, your pet, a beautiful beach etc.
- Use #AkvelonMan and post the photo on the Akvelon Facebook page, Instagram or Twitter
Then you are entered to win a prize!
Prizes Available
1st place- $100 Amazon gift card
2nd place- $50 Amazon gift card
3rd place-$25 Amazon gift card
NOTE: This app only works on iOS 11 or higher. If you do not own an iPhone and are unable to borrow one, please email olivia.cole@akvelon.com for an alternative method to apply.
How to use the app
Download SeekXR app for free through the app store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
Search “Akvelon” and download “Akvelon Man Cutout” AR
Click “Launch” and watch as Akvelon Man appears on your screen!
Use multi-touch to resize Akvelon Man to fit your screen. Take a picture and save to your camera roll
Post the picture on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter (or all three!) and use #AkvelonMan
Contest Notes
All pictures will be reviewed and voted on by our team and the winners will be selected November 1, 2018.
Official rules for this contest:
- Anyone 18 years or older may enter the contest
- Limit of 3 submissions per person
- Submit photos by 5 pm on October 31st
- Appropriate photos and captions only
- Must use #AkvelonMan to qualify
- Must allow Akvelon to repost your photos to social media
- Have fun and get creative!
