Business need
The aim of the project was to bridge the gap between the tasks given and money spent for a given patent and to establish an agile unified reporting system. There are several key dimensions that provide insight into performance and profitability that when woven into a reporting cube, allow users to make more informed decisions than they have been able to make before.
Solution
A cube was built using SQL Server Analysis Services. There were several dimensions upon which users need to be able to pivot and rearrange the data.
